Job Summary

The Procurement Coordinator will provide procurement support for our client's Business Services area. This team is responsible for purchasing all technology-related items including hardware, software, and supplies for the organization.


Responsibilities include preparing and processing requisitions, invoices and electronic documents, managing multiple email inboxes and electronic filing systems, investigating and remediating data anomalies, IT budget preparation, and other similar duties.


As team member, each person must have flexibility in the duties they perform. Tasks may include operational responsibilities not directly related to initiatives but will be within the professionals core skill set.


Essential Functions:

  • Create, maintain, and record data using a variety of tools and sources, includes reviewing and preparing all procurement-related documents
  • Assist with preparation, reporting, and reconciliation of the IT Budget
  • Effectively manage various types of electronic media, including multiple email accounts, subscription portals, and visual reporting tools
  • Proofread quotes, estimates, and maintenance renewals to ensure accuracy and completion of all requests
  • Correspond with vendors, as well as internal customers, to ensure the successful completion of the procurement process
  • Collaborate within a team environment to establish, document, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Working Instructions (WIs) for the department
  • Analyze data anomalies and research discrepancies quickly and effectively
  • Apply knowledge of company policies and standard practices to maintain compliance with State and Agency regulations
  • Perform special projects as needed

  • Competent in compiling, storing, and maintaining procurement data
  • Perform basic math calculations and understand basic procurement terminology such as account codes and expenditures
  • Intermediate proficiency in computer applications, including Adobe Acrobat Pro and Microsoft Office; specifically in Excel (must have basic to intermediate skill working with general math formulas and creating tables)
  • Ability to comprehend terminology related to Information Technology



Other Requirements:

  • Must pass a background check
  • Previous experience working in fast-paced environments performing comparable duties
  • State of Oklahoma Certified Procurement Officer (CPO) certification is preferred
  • Be able to come in office full time at 200 N.E. 21st Street, Oklahoma City, OK 73105
