166-25 Dispatcher: Facilitate communication between citizens and multi-agency emergency personnel. Candidate will receive training in advanced communication and computer technologies, and work in a fast-paced environment where they will be challenged to continually learn and develop skills.
Schedule: initial training requires flexibility in the candidates' schedule for 6-8 months, after completion of training, the candidate will work a variety of shifts until a more permanent schedule is assigned. This is a continuous 24 hour/365-day operation. Must be available to work shift work overtime and call back.
Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent and valid driver's license required, law enforcement or public safety background or experience preferred.
Starting Rate: $23.89 -26.04 per hour DOQ, plus a comprehensive benefit package including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401k, annual leave, sick leave, holidays, and personal days.
